Executive Coaching:

Townsend Consulting Group is a part of a consortium of consulting firms that distinguished executive coaching as a specific business discipline nearly 20 years ago. Since then, we have developed a proven, powerful approach for coaching executives and senior managers to greatly enhance their performance and effectiveness in producing extraordinary results.

In one-to-one sessions, an Townsend Consulting coach works with the executive, team, or manager. At the onset of the coaching partnership clear outcomes are identified, and a coaching plan with a beginning and end time is established. The coach supports the client to realize bold and exciting futures that would not happen without the executive's intervention and leadership. If appropriate or necessary the coach will conduct a series of interviews with people around the executive to reveal information and insight to support the intended outcomes.

The Townsend Consulting coach supports the individual executive or team to enlarge their capacity to see an area of work or expertise in a new way, thus providing access to new possibilities and opportunities for their business. The coach also supports the individual to stay focused on what is critical to moving his or her organization forward, and to explore and open up new possibilities for creativity, productivity, and action.

Gallup Report

All you corporate numbers wonks out there, time to listen up.
Heres something new to stuff into your spreadsheets.
The Gallup Organization, a leading international survey research and consulting firm,
estimates that actively disengaged workers are costing US businesses $300 billion a year in productivity losses!
The Gallup Management Journal semi-annual Employee Engagement Index puts the current percentage of employees who are actively disengaged at 17%.
Thats about 22.5 million US workers.
Gallup defines actively disengaged as employees who are not just unhappy in their work,
but who are busy acting out their unhappiness by undermining what their engaged co-workers accomplish.
Each one of these angry and alienated workers is causing their employers roughly $13k in yearly productivity losses on average.
Think this is bad? It gets worse.
